For DJ Sal V, it has always been about the groove. With decades of experience behind the decks, Sal V’s sound is rooted in classic house with a firm connection to the underground. His productions and DJ sets combine funky rhythms, driving grooves and club-focused energy, drawing inspiration from the records and club culture that shaped his musical foundation.
From 2007 to 2012, Sal V hosted The Launch Mixshow on KRAJ 100.9 The HEAT FM, featuring house music and guest DJs from around the world. Sponsored by Native Instruments Traktor Scratch, the program aired during an important transition when digital DJ technology was rapidly reshaping club culture.
Sal V continues to produce and release new music through Pure Sugar Music, his independent house music label. His ongoing Old School Flashbacks DJ mix series revisits the funk, disco and dance records that helped shape his style as a DJ and producer.
After years behind the decks and in the studio, his approach remains straightforward: respect the roots, keep moving forward, and never lose the groove.
